Hopefully this review will be constructive criticism. The Mac was tasteless one side was cold the other side was boiling hot.Corn on the Cobb was hot no taste but edible.Catfish was rubbish like for real. Whole waste of plate I can’t even try to eat. I had 4 people taste and still it’s a full plate.
Based on recommendations from neighbors had to try the food and it is fried deliciousness! Clean and friendly environment, cooked to order. Had pork chops, chicken livers, fried squash, fried okra, hush puppies, Mac and cheese and green beans. Solid comfort food and will visit again.
By far the best food we have had in a very long time Everything and Everyone was great. See pictures and it will melt your mouth. Down right great cooking and the sweet tea was bussing
There’s nothing impressive about the location, BUT don’t let that deter you. I ordered a veggie plate online. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes after the estimated pickup time. The food was not ready (understandable). When I inquired about how long it might be, the cashier was very snappy/defensive. Her customer service was terrible. She was very rude to the other guests waiting for their call-ahead orders. When taking a phone order, in response to what I assume was a customer’s request to repeat the side options, she said “I went through them fast because I’m busy and don’t have a lot of time” as she pantomimed the “hurry up” gesture. It took 50 minutes to get my food (again, a vegetable plate), and no one seemed apologetic about the wait. HOWEVER, the food was AMAZING! Everything I ate (greens, green beans, fried squash, corn on the cob) was delicious enough for me to try them a second time, in hopes that it’ll be a much better experience.
