The team is very cheerful and welcoming . Tiffany is an awesome hygienist's. She’s very thorough in creating a treatment plan for the next visit in regards cleanings and staying on top of gingivitis. Not excluding the Doctor also whom is very informative and will answer a questions you have regarding your dental health. A+ team !
I had a wonderful experience at Coast Dental. The dental hygienist that performed the cleaning of my teeth was amazing. She really made me feel comfortable and throughout the whole process I experience no pain. Definitely will be back for my follow up in six months.
I have had it with this dental office. I went into the office for a new patient cleaning in April because they were on my insurance's list of dentists. The office was antiquated, the walls were dingy, and the ceiling tiles had water stains. The people were nice enough when I was there, but even though they said I did not have a copay because my insurance was great, I was charged $602. I have called and visited the location numerous times either not receiving a response or being told that the manager was not in and would get back to me. They never got back to me. I kept getting notices and kept trying to get in touch. Finally someone responded saying that this happened to a lot of people who had visited in April and that their computers had charged my account what they should have charged insurance. I was told that it would be fixed. It was not fixed. I continued to get this bill in the mail as well as in email form and continued to attempt to get in touch. I called the accounting service for Costal Dental and told them what was going on. They said that it would be fixed. That was in September. After having not heard from them in weeks, I have received a past due notice in the past few days. I will be calling my insurance to see if they can do anything to help me, but I do not know what they will be able to do on their end. Regardless, I will never be going back to Costal Dental or recommend anyone else to go.
Horrible, Horrible customer service. Please avoid this office!!! The equipment is out dated just like the front desk rep personality!!! I went in for a 6 mth preventative care cleaning. I have dental insurance. Why was I charged out of pocket almost $300 for this procedure. The hygienist complimented me on how well I had been taking care of my teeth. So, I was in and out. Nothing major. So, why was I charged the amount for a root canal??!!. They of course submitted a claim to my insurance. My insurance paid out $158. The rep and I went back and forth about the amount I was being charged. Very unprofessional!! My insurance covers 70% how is it I paid more out of pocket than my insurance covered? My insurance company even stated I was over charged for the procedure. They are refusing to do what is right, which is a refund. I should have researched this company beforehand. They have multiple lawsuits against them. They are not registered by the BBB!!! They are ridiculous!!! I want my refund. I have read other reviews of this continuously happening!!! They should be investigated immediately and shut down. $ 23 for X-rays. The vest used to prevent people from radiation, falls off because the Velcro no longer sticks!!! Where is the health department?!! They also charged my card after I left the office without contacting me first. Stating an additional fee. What?!! No bill provided, nothing. So you have to be careful giving them your debit/credit card. Illegal like hell!! Let's ban to gather and seek justice!!! Investigate, investigate, investigate. I also tried to return a teeth whitening kit I only had for two days. The Tamika at the front desk said no. $62 I'm sure was pocketed because the other rep was not able to locate that in their system that I paid for it. She assumed they gave it to me for free??!! Huh??!! Hello!!! This is waaayy past fishy!!! This is just pure funk!!!
It is wonderful to have someone like Tiffany who was my hygienist, and who is not only thorough but she patiently explained the current state of my dental hygiene and shared some easy ways to take better care. She has a very pleasant demeanor. I look forward to seeing her again next time.
